Loom/WOTM held their convention in Twin Falls. New Regional Director, Norm Dean was in attendance in addition to lodge representatives. Mr. Dean is taking the place of Dick Surry, who recently retired from Moose International and is hopefully enjoying some family time and travel.

On August 14th, Boise Lodge 337 celebrated 100 years of dedication to Moose ideals. Approximately 75 people were in attendance for for the dinner representing the Boise Lodge and Chapter, as well as Twin Falls, Nampa and Buhl Lodges and Chapters. Along with the many Moose members were dignitaries, such as Bill Stuart, St. Pres. and Debby Christopherson, PGCM and special guests Regional Manager Dick Surry and Rose Marie Barbeau, the widow of former Regional Manager Paul Barbeau. Many community leaders were also in attendance. Dinner was roasted pork loin or game hen with twice baked potatos and other fixings. Another dozen people, unable to attend the dinner, came for the live entertainment following dinner. This momentous celebration was a great success thanks to the 100th Anniversay Committee which consisted of: Karl McClenny, Chairman and Junior Gov., Tony Schiro, Administrator, Dale Vaugh, Trustee, Phyllis Raney, Sen. Reg. and Susan Ketchum, Junior Graduate Regent. Boise wishes to thank the many who helped with cooking, dishes and especially thank the "cake ladies" who made and donated a cake for the lodge that was an exact replica of the alter cloth.
